The Challenge

Johns Manville required complex configurations like nested configurators and dynamic fields that other solutions couldn’t handle on its own. They needed a visual way to show off their product options and streamline the design processes for their internal and external users.

The Solution

Johns Manville Uses KBMax integrated with Salesforce CPQ

Johns Manville worked closely with KBMax to quickly implement product visualization and dynamic quoting that feeds everything back into Salesforce CPQ. Their team also quickly learned how to maintain and update the platform to build out configurators for various types of roofs.

They’re using Salesforce Community Cloud to deliver a tailored Salesforce instance to their external users, roofing contractors. They can now accurately and easily price out JM products to estimate the cost of their larger projects.

Johns Manville also have a Submittal Wizard on their website that allows JM’s team to select their documentation for product data sheets. This information is passed over to KBMax that is then bundled with the tables representing the selected roof’s options. JM can send everything in one neat package to the customer.
